Subject: blog post review for Kakitorikun
I found this blog post Using the Nintendo DS to Learn Kanji with a YouTube embedded Japanese commercial for the Nintendo DS.

The author says,
After several days of using Kakitorikun, I can’t go back to paperback kanji books.

Thanks for sharing!
I'm just curious to know if you are familiar with the stroke order. Using the correct stroke order should help tremendously. When you get the wrong character, does it give you a list of alternates to choose from?

Does Kanji SonoMama teach or drill? Does it have any special methods? Where did you buy it and how much does it cost?

Hi!
I have the "Kanji SonoMama.." Dictionary, It's pretty interactive, and it also gives an English translation for the word,  however I have hard time finding the characters in the dictionary and even writing it, I spend the time trying to write even a kana but It detects it as a different one.
It should be quite useful If I could know more how to use it ^_^

There are about as many ways to learn Kanji as there are number of Kanji that need to be learned.

There are more than a few people using the Nintendo DS to study Kanji.
Here are a couple of articles written about it.
This one has some screen shots: Learning Kanji with your DS: the Tale of Doko Demo Kanji Quiz
And this brief article has a video showing a commercial advertisement: Nintendo DS kanji training

Are you one of the Nintendo DS users studying Kanji? Let us know how it's going.
